It’s Wednesday again.
I suppose I am going to be able to write a blog a Wednesday, it’s been convenient so far.
Hm..Wednesday..
On my mind is Christmas time. I have recently been to Value Village and found an inspirational book of quotes relating to the value of women; I picked it up for my mom. One parent thought for..what to do for the next?
I figured it out! My dad spends much of his time at home looking at the photographs my older sister uploads of her family. She lives in California, which is a heck of a distance from my parents home near Barrie. I decided I would make my dad a photo album. He loves his family and he misses his grandkids, so what better present than one that allows him to indulge in the beauty of life while lying with his feet up?
One long weekend I was in Montréal and found a thrift store that sold…you got it! Photo albums! I payed a toonie and picked one up.
Step 2: Sort through photographs online.
Now, I’m not really an online, picture-browsing type of person, but for my dad I will put on my frames and get my scroll on.
Step 3: Print the pictures.
Laurentian University has an awesome printing services location on campus. They’ve recently relocated and are now on the bottom floor of the Fraser, near the auditorium. They have great rates, many options and are sure to get the job done both quickly and correctly.
I sent my zipped folder away on Friday afternoon (they close at four…) and received an “your pictures are ready for pick-up” e-mail early Tuesday morning. They’re closed during the weekends; I didn’t expect to hear back from them so soon! Looks like I’ll be heading over there, cash in hand, to pick up a present I know my dad will appreciate
